Designing things got me in the room. Curiosity kept me there longer than I expected. I'd be deep in a product and find myself wondering — is this actually working for the business? Who decided this was worth building? That pull didn't go away. It got stronger every time I sat with a stakeholder, led a team, or watched a decision get made without the user in the room. So I followed it.
